Civic Groups

Deposit & Payment - A 50% Deposit is due in advance. Failure to remit the deposit will void this agreement and cancel your reservation. The full balance is due 10 days prior to your scheduled performance. Reservations made within 15 days of the performance will require a full credit card payment. No checks will be accepted from anyone other than the group leader; no single checks. Barter Theatre's Federal I.D. # 54-6000120.

Changes must be called into Group Sales or the Box Office at least 10 days in advance of the performance. Cancellations must be made 45 days in advance of the performance for a full refund. If your reserved number falls below 15, the rate per ticket will revert to full price.

Complimentary tickets will be provided for the group leader & the bus driver, no complimentary tickets for groups under 25 seats.

Talks Backs & Tours are provided by advance reservation only, depending on availability.

Have lunch or a snack before or after the performance. Located on the beautifully landscaped Stonewall Square, adjacent to Barter’s Stage II is The Barter Café . Your group may order lunch in advance link to group lunch form.

House Rules - Arrange to have your group at the theatre no later than 30 minutes prior to the performance. Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the House Management. Barter Theatre is fully handicapped-accessible. You must notify us at the time you make the reservation if you require a wheel chair space, a hearing device, or if a member of your group cannot climb stairs. Barter Theatre does not allow cameras or recording devices. All cellular phones, beepers etc. must be turned off or left with the house management. No food, beverages or smoking is allowed in the theatre. Please do not chew gum or open candy wrappers during the performance. Please remind students that talking or other ill-mannered behavior during the performance is discourteous to the performers and to other patrons and will not be tolerated. Offenders will be escorted from the theatre at the discretion of House Management.

Student Groups

Payment in full along with number of seats is due one month prior to the show. Failure to remit the full payment will void this agreement and cancel your reservation. Refunds are possible when canceled one month in advance. Barter does not cancel shows due to bad weather. Barter Theatre's Federal I.D. # 54-6000120.

Changes must be called into Group Sales of the Box Office as soon as possible; there is no refund on tickets after one month prior to your performance date. Performance dates are subject to change.

Complimentary tickets will be provided for the bus driver and/or teacher if 25 or more tickets are sold except for The Barter Players. Tickets for adults are at the student rate.
