Reflections on 9 to 5: The Musical
It was not so long ago that women were beginning to wonder whether the glass ceiling might ever be shattered. Chauvinism, sexism, the good-old-boy network, discrimination, and a whole host of obstacles prevented women from obtaining equal positions, equal opportunity, and equal pay with men.
It was a very big deal in 1984 when Geraldine Anne Ferraro was selected as a Vice Presidential candidate – the first time in U.

9 to 5: The Musical
Music and Lyrics by Dolly Parton, Based on the 20th Century Fox Picture, Book by Particia Resnick
What a way to make a living! Full of laughter and side-splitting Southern sass and with Dolly's Grammy-nominated score, this musical comedy comes direct from Broadway based on the hit movie starring Dolly Parton, Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin. This sensational musical, guaranteed to delight audiences young and old, tells the story of three unlikely friends who scheme to take control of their company and learn there's nothing they can't do, even in a man's world. Hilarious and a little romantic, 9 to 5: The Musical is about joining forces and taking care of business!
